NRLT Projects
NRLT uses two strategies to help conserve land in our service area: (1) NRLT may acquire a conservation easement on its own account, either by donation or purchase, and bear responsibility for monitoring it in perpetuity; or (2) NRLT may assist another organization, such as the Vermont Land Trust, which will purchase and hold an easement and be responsible for long-term stewardship.
The table below summarizes the three easements which NRLT holds as of early 2010 and one collaborative project to which NRLT contributed. Following the table is a description of the three properties.
